The house

The Maison de Louis Pasteur is the preserved family home and laboratory of the scientist Louis Pasteur in Arboisthe only house he ever owned — labelled a “Maison des Illustres” (source: jura-research.md).

Pasteur grew up in Arbois, and the house and his small vineyard are kept as a museum. It is open roughly February–November with seasonal hours, with guided tours daily May–September; booking is recommended (source: jura-research.md). (Confirm seasonal hours before visiting.)
