Whose
Louis Pasteur
The only house he ever owned

The Maison de Louis Pasteur is the preserved family home and laboratory of the scientist Louis Pasteur in Arbois — the only house he ever owned — labelled a “Maison des Illustres” (source: jura-research.md).
Pasteur grew up in Arbois, and the house and his small vineyard are kept as a museum. It is open roughly February–November with seasonal hours, with guided tours daily May–September; booking is recommended (source: jura-research.md). (Confirm seasonal hours before visiting.)

Beyond the cellars, Arbois is Pasteur's town — his preserved home and lab make an easy, central museum stop. Seasonal hours, so check before visiting.
Guided tours daily May–Sept.
