Parc Minier Tellure

The attraction
Parc Minier Tellure is the signature must-see of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, pairing a modern mining museum with a guided descent into the 16th-century Saint-Jean Engelsbourg silver mine, plus adventure add-ons — via ferrata, caving and an escape game (source: Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines-research.md).
It is one of the two anchors of any visit to the Val d'Argent — the other being the more austere, scientist-led ASEPAM mines. A seasonal Bar Le Tellure with a terrace and conservatory serves the site, which sits several km uphill from town — a car is the practical way up (source: Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines-research.md).
