Louis Bouillot — La Verrière

The house
Louis Bouillot is a Crémant de Bourgogne house at 2 rue de la Berchère, 21700 Nuits-Saint-Georges, part of Boisset, La Famille des Grands Vins (Boisset acquired the brand in 1997; the house marks 1877) (source: compass_artifact_wf-5af489e6...). Its visitor site “La Verrière” opened in May 2021 in a restored 18th-century house, centered on a winter garden under an Art Nouveau glass roof from the Eiffel era.
The visit is an audio-guided “sound and light” immersive tour in six stages (History, Vines, Vinification, Blending, Bubbles, Emotion) using high-tech headsets, followed by a commented tasting in the conservatory, for 2–12 people, in French or English (source). The emblematic “Perle de Vigne” Brut blends all four Burgundy grapes (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Aligoté, Gamay) (source: compass_artifact_wf-5af489e6...).
