Église Notre-Dame de Dijon
A 13th-century Gothic church famed for its Jacquemart clock and the worn corner owl (la chouette) that Dijonnais touch with the left hand to make a wish — the city's talisman and the namesake of the Owl's Trail.

Église Notre-Dame de Dijon is a 13th-century Gothic church (free to enter) with two famous features: the Jacquemart clock atop the façade and, on the north wall along Rue de la Chouette, the lucky owl (la chouette) (source: dijon-france-research.md).
The owl is Dijon's talisman: tradition says you touch the worn carving with your left hand and make a wish (source: dijon-france-research.md). The owl gives its name to the self-guided Parcours de la Chouette (Owl's Trail), a roughly one-hour route of brass owl markers linking 22 heritage stops, starting at the tourist office in the Palais des Ducs (source: dijon-france-research.md).
Also on Rue de la Chouette is the Edmond Fallot mustard boutique-atelier (see Dijon Mustard).
