Close enough to walk or e-bike from Arbois, Pupillin packs a Michelin-starred table and a legendary (if unvisitable) natural-wine name into a hamlet of Poulsard cellars.

For the Poulsard and Le Grapiot.

§From the wiki

Pupillin is a small wine hamlet roughly 3 km from Arbois, walkable or cyclable on the vineyard lanes, that proclaims itself the "world capital of Ploussard/Poulsard" — the pale Jura red also spelled Poulsard (source: jura-research.md). For its size it carries an outsized reputation, anchored by two names.

The first is La Table du Grapiot (La Table du Grapiot), which earned its first Michelin star in March 2026 under chef Vivien Sonzogni — bold terroir cooking with a ~400-reference wine list, the area's special-occasion table (source: jura-research.md). The second is Overnoy-Houillon (Pierre Overnoy / Emmanuel Houillon), a world-famous natural-wine icon — but it is allocation-only and essentially closed to casual visitors, so don't expect a walk-in tasting (source: jura-research.md).

On the self-drive route Pupillin is the easiest of the Arbois day-trips — close enough to reach on foot or by e-bike rented from A Tour de Roues in Arbois (source: jura-research.md).
