The estate
Run by Bénédicte and Stéphane Tissot, Domaine André et Mireille Tissot is the benchmark biodynamic estate of the Jura — organic since 1999, Demeter-certified since 2004 — farming about 46 hectares and making 30-plus cuvées (source: jura-research.md).
The estate is at Montigny-lès-Arsures, but the tasting cellar is central in Arbois at 35 Place de la Liberté (source: jura-research.md). It works the full spectrum of Jura styles — precise Chardonnay and Savagnin, vin jaune, Poulsard and Trousseau, Crémant — at a high level. (Tasting arrangements need verification; book ahead.)
