Alsace Wine Route by Car (Source Summary)

Summary of Elisa's (Travel France Bucket List) 5-day, car-based Alsace Wine Route itinerary running Colmar → Strasbourg.
Updated 2026-05-31Sources Alsace Wine Route by Car – Itinerary & Map.md
Ornate wine shop sign in Alsace, France with vibrant flowers and clear sky.

A detailed 5-day driving itinerary by Elisa (Travel France Bucket List) (published 2019-09-12) for the Alsace Wine Route. Unlike the Winalist itinerary (Strasbourg→Colmar), this one runs Colmar → Riquewihr → Obernai → Strasbourg, ~104.5 km total, in the Grand Est region (source: Alsace Wine Route by Car – Itinerary & Map.md).

> Contradiction with the Winalist source: this article bounds the route between Marlenheim and Thann, whereas Winalist describes it as Strasbourg to Colmar. The official Route des Vins endpoints (Marlenheim–Thann) match this source (source: Alsace Wine Route by Car – Itinerary & Map.md).
